We encrypt all data that goes between you and HelpHero using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) to protect your data. Your data is also encrypted at rest when it is stored on our servers, and encrypted when we transfer it between data centres for backup and replication.
We use passwordless authentication as it is cited
to be a safer alternative to password authentication. We recommend you use two-step authentication on the email you use to login to HelpHero as it reduces the risk of your HelpHero account being accessed if your email is compromised.
We’ve had independent security testing carried out by 3rd party security specialists to verify our systems and processes. We also regularly carry out in-house security maintenance, and re-check our processes so that you can rest assured your information is in safe hands.

Secure data centres
HelpHero production services are hosted on the Google Cloud Platform. The physical servers are located in Google’s secure data centers. Further information on the security of Google data centers is available directly from Google
Do you store credit card information?
HelpHero does not handle any credit card information. We use a first-class payment processor, Stripe which is PCI-Compliant and maintains security best practices. You can read more about these here
Where is my data hosted?
All user content is stored within US regions of Google Cloud. We use MongoDB Atlas to manage our databases which in turn configures and provisions the appropriate Google Cloud resources. You can read more about the security practices of MongoDB Atlas here
