Can I try HelpHero for free?

Yes, we’d love you to give HelpHero a go. Your free 14 day trial lets you access all of the onboarding tool features we offer with no credit card required.

Can I change plans?

You can upgrade or downgrade to another plan at any time in your account settings. Upgrades are immediate, while downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

What’s a monthly active user (MAU)?

MAUs refers to monthly active users, which we calculate based on the unique number of visitors to any page on which HelpHero is installed, within the past month. This is used as the basis of our pricing, as we need to track users based on their unique ID to ensure they are shown the right tours. Hence our costs are proportional to your MAU count.

What if I exceed my plan’s MAU limit?

We’ll email you when your account reaches 100% of your MAU limit. You can choose to upgrade your account or stay on your current plan. If you stay on your current plan and your account exceeds 120% of your MAU limit, we’ll pause your tours until the next billing cycle.

What if I decide to cancel?

We don’t lock you in, so you can cancel at anytime. Simply sign in to your account and cancel your plan. Just remember that cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Are there larger plans?

Absolutely! Please contact us to find out more about high volume pricing plans and customized Enterprise options.

How easy is it to install HelpHero?

It’s super quick and easy – You can get up and running in minutes. Simply install our Chrome extension or add our JavaScript snippet to your site. It works in a similar fashion to other website add-ons like Google Analytics, Intercom etc.

What browsers are supported?

We support a wide range of browsers and versions including Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. We work hard to ensure your users can benefit from interactive product tours.

Does it work on mobile?

HelpHero can be used on web based mobile and tablet apps. However we don’t support native mobile apps.

Do I need to be technical to use HelpHero?

The HelpHero Editor is completely code-free so anyone can create and edit tours in HelpHero.

Is it compatible with my app?

Our snippet is compatible with a wide range of web app architectures. Whether your app is client rendered (React, AngularJS, etc) or server rendered (PHP, ASP.NET, etc) we’ve got you covered.
